Short version: Secret Treehouse is an offline treehouse-building game for families. There is no account, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking. Your treehouse stays on your device. The optional Full Workshop purchase goes through Apple. We do not collect any data.
Who we are
DK4G Technologies, LLC (“DK4G,” “we,” “us”) publishes Secret Treehouse for iPhone and iPad. Contact: [email protected] or [email protected].
What the app stores on your device
To remember your game, the app saves locally on your device:
- Your treehouse build (which pieces are placed where, and which trees or branches were chopped)
- Settings: sound on/off, vibration on/off, evening mode, and whether tips have been shown
This information never leaves your device and is not sent to us. It may be included in device backups you choose to make with Apple services (such as iCloud Backup).
Purchases
An optional one-time in-app purchase (“Full Workshop”) unlocks extra pieces and evening mode. Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store, behind an in-app grown-ups check. We do not receive or store payment details. The app checks with Apple whether Full Workshop has been purchased so it can unlock it. Apple’s privacy practices apply to the payment flow.
What we do not collect
- No account registration or login
- No advertising, advertising identifiers, or third-party ad SDKs
- No analytics or tracking SDKs, and no tracking across other companies’ apps or websites
- No chat, user-generated content sharing, photos, contacts, camera, microphone, or location
- No personal information of any kind is sent to DK4G
Children
Secret Treehouse is designed to be enjoyed by families, including young children. We do not collect personal information from anyone, including children. Purchases require passing a grown-ups check first. If you believe a child has sent us personal information (for example by email), contact us and we will delete it.
Third parties
Apple provides App Store distribution, purchase processing, TestFlight (when you opt in), crash/diagnostic reports you choose to share with developers through Apple, and optional App Store ratings/reviews.
Your choices
- Delete the app to remove its on-device data (subject to how iOS stores backups)
- Use Restore Purchases in the app to re-unlock Full Workshop on a new device with the same Apple ID
- Device Settings → Screen Time for purchase restrictions Apple provides
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
